The good news first

The good news is that starting tomorrow, Common Sense will be at its new home CommonSenseTX.com.

The bad news is that it is still not really ready. But it is go time and things can be added as we go along.

It's Good Friday

I don't know what is so good about it, it's the day Jesus was crucified. It should be called Bad Luck Friday or something.

Still workin'

Another day, another new theme. The new home of Common Sense is taking some time, like trying to figure out how to put things into the left sidebar. Once I can do that, we'll be cooking with gas.

Pressing matters

I suppose I should also be  letting you know that war in Iran is imminent. At least according to Sy Hersh at the New Yorker.

But that's not what I consider important. No, what is important is that there is no Wikipedia article about me! There definitely should be, though, and one of you trusty readers should get on that right away. I cannot be outdone by Andy Milonakis.

To the earlier post with my Top Ten Sexiest Women list, AJ emails me to say "Thanx" with a smiley face emoticon. That's all it takes to win my heart. That, and maybe a lunch at Capt. Billy Whizzbang's.

Actually, I got a better email than that, but I'm not publishing it. Too bad.

It's an annual thing now

Last year, I did my own Top Ten Sexiest Women list in response to FHM's Top 100 list that I thought was sorely lacking. I don't know who responds to the FHM poll, but I think they could do better. Not nearly enough brunettes in the Top 10. And I'm sorry, but Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson are not that hot.

Without further ado, the list.

1. AJ Khan: A Common Sense favorite and No. 10 last year. I got to know her a little better since last year and she has become my pen pal and friend. And she looks really good naked.
2. Jessica Alba: Did you see her in Sin City?
3. Salma Hayek: Charitable and she has that sexy accent.
4. Lacey Chabert: Last year's No. 1. Still cute as ever, but not quite sexy enough.
5. Jennie Finch: Man can she play softball!
6. Denise Richards: OK, so I watched Wild Things the other night. Nuff said.
7. Jaime Pressly: Still hot.
8. Rosario Dawson: She looks really hot in the upcoming Clerks 2... And did you see her in Sin City?
9. Kelly Hu: I've never wanted to be beat up by a chick so much as when I saw her in X2.
10. Devon Aoki: Sin City representin' ya'll. Don't hold 2 Fast 2 Furious against her.

That's this year's picks. Discuss my affinity for hot asian chicks and brunettes in comments.

Fun little fact

I'm getting lots of traffic this week from people seeking "asian schoolgirls" and linking to my post on the CHUD series. I can only guess what they are thinking when they see the title and click over.

Some time ago, my post "I didn't know porn stars had uniforms" became the all-time most-read post here at Common Sense. I know exactly what they are thinking when the read that title and click over. I still have yet to snag an interview with uh, er actress Courtney Simpson (aka Courtney Cox. That's her real name) about the controversy. I will not rest until I do.

Or until after lunch; whichever comes first.
