Now, about the blog war. From my perspective over at South Texas Chisme, the dispute with BOR had nothing to do with Glen Maxey at all.

YouGottaLoveIt, GulfCoastLeftie and I complained about the use of DFT assets to promote a specific candidate in a contested race. Please read what I wrote over on BOR on this topic.

As for what happened with Matt, we had a discussion, and both of us apologized. End of that story, I hope.

Since when is it wrong for an organization to use their email list (opt-in, people can unsubscribe at any time) to promote someone they believe in? As well as the fact that it was a Draft movement. Which worked.

So I guess we shouldn't be able to use our grassroots list of activists to promote anyone or anything.
