damn yankee

That's something I've never understood about Texas. All of this flat land, plenty of space, and no wind turbines???? Politics, politics, politics.....

Nate

To be fair, there are a few wind farms in West Texas. Driving to Bind Bend National Park, you see them on I-10. If I'm not mistaken, the cost of electricity from those wind farms is somewhere around $10 more a month.

But as the price of fossil fuels rise and the price of wind goes down, it just won't make economic sense for anyone to go with coal.
