Nick Lampson Q&A from Kuff

Kuff did an email Q&A with Nick Lampson recently and he has it posted on his blog.

My real concern is how the people of TX-22 respond to him. If he manages to get through the mud that DeLay is going to sling, he's got a real shot, I think.

What happens if a primary challenger bumps off DeLay before Lampson gets a shot, I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine.

I can't stress enough to Democrats in the district, they shouldn't try to bump off DeLay in the primaries by voting for his challenger. The idea that we should try to pick between the lesser of two evils gets you only one thing: another Republican. I fervently believe that the best thing is to support the Democratic candidate. That should be a bumper sticker. "Democrats: We're not evil." I don't think that would be a big seller here in Texas, but you never know.

Since I am never wrong, I know that Democrats are always right. Vote for the right person, not to keep the wrong person from winning. That's my personal plea to you the voters.
